John Simons was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and raised in Orange County, California. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at California Baptist University (CBU), M.A. Philosophy & M.Div from Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, and PhD in Ethics & Public Theology at Southern Seminary. He previously served as a Small Groups and Men’s Community Pastor at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA.

He’s the author of The Man You’re Meant To Be: A Call of Self-Examination for Every Believer, Hypocrite, & Outsider. You can also find his articles, content, & resources at Lifeway, as well as North American Mission Board (NAMB).

John and his family live in Franklin, TN, where he is the Men’s Pastor at Rolling Hills Community Church.
